Olympic champion Semuel Shenkland is already in Baku.
Samuel Shankland, the winner of the 42nd World Chess Olympiad, arrived in Baku. Grandmaster will perform at "Vugar Gashimov Memorial-2022" to be organized in Baku on December 17-24.
10 chess players from 7 countries - Azerbaijan, USA, China, India, Uzbekistan, Romania and Spain will compete in the tournament.
It should be noted that Baku hosted the 42nd World Chess Olympiad in 2016.
